Yup, it's Monday again, and what a Monday indeed. Actually, it was just another Monday, what the fuck am I talking about. So what happens on Mondays? Ugh, I guess I can talk about the weekend? That's fun right? Well, I got drunk, for the most part. That's always fun to do with friends and family. Friday night I played a show which was pretty awesome, hung out with some people at the bar, then went off to a party that ended up going all damn night. I finally called it a night when the sun was coming up while I was enjoying a beer on the back porch of my friends. I attempted to sleep in the driver seat of my car for a few hours. After the sun came up, I really wasn't in the mood to lay there, so I said fuck it and drove home. I got home and proceeded to pass out until about 4pm. I must say, the one down side of going on a good ole bender is that you piss away half the next day laying in bed crying about the night before. Better yet, when I finally got out of bed, I had to hurry up and get myself together to head down to my girlfriends house, because we were going out to dinner with her co-workers for one of her bosses, who was leaving. It was a good time, but I was the only male at the table, and everyone was drinking, so I got a beer, and choked it down. The first taste of booze you have after a nice long bender is usually horrible, but the rest went down nicely. Back to dinner though. Yeah, I was the only male at the table, which I was fine with, but I always find it a little strange. I didn't know anyone we were with except my girlfriend, so I made small talk with the new girl most the night being that see seemed to be the only other person not perfectly comfortable with the situation we were in. She was nice, and we talked about movies and such as we drank. I have no problem with hanging with all woman, but I always have this notion in the back of my head that they will start talking about periods, or their favorite brand of bra's, I will be completely alienated from the conversation/situation. Lucky for me, that didn't happen, and we all had a blast. We left there and of course, went to a party to drink more. I'll never complain about drinking, but when there is nothing but booze going into your body for 48-72 hours straight, you start to feel a little weird.
Anyway, we finished up the weekend hanging out at this place called Burrito Bar on Sunday afternoon. Played a few games of darts with the lady, had some margarita's and food, and I headed home. Surprisingly, today was awesome, the work day went fast, and it is finally beautiful out in good ole New York. This week is looking decent as well, and I took a half day on Friday to head upstate of our show. It should be a fun one for everyone. I'm also going to an open bar in NYC Saturday night, so once again, it's time to load up on drinks.
Anyway, there it is, my account of the weekend, or all of it I an remember. I hope everyone had just a great/fuzzy weekend as I did. I look forward to doing it again this weekend. Until then, as Mooj says, Fuck A Goat!
